Not the same as they used to be
"I have worn these boots for 12+ years, finally they developed holes so I went out and spent $200 on new ones, the same size, the size I always am. Because the heel is literal metal and SO stiff, there is zero chance I can get my foot into either boot. I literally almost dislocated my shoulder trying. UGH. So I wasted $200 and now cannot return them. I am SO bummed and I never write reviews but my old boots were perfect and these are literal poo."

- What should I use to take care of the leather on these boots? Do I need to treat it with anything?
- Hi Laura, here's info from our product team: To maintain the leather, there are a few things that can be done. 1. The leather is a waterproof leather, so you can use a Waterproof Leather Protector Spray every few months on them. Note that the overall boot itself is not waterproof because of the elastic gore. 2. You can also use a Waterproof Leather Cleaner if you'd like to clean them. 3. Use a product such as Mink Oil to condition the leather It is very important to point our a few things: • If you do use some type of spray or cleaner, dry them naturally, do NOT put them over a heat source to dry them or the leather will dry out a crack. • If you use a mink oil (which is a great way to condition leather) it will make the leather darker in colour.
