The 8-inch Kodiak® McKinney Wedge is designed for comfort and engineered for flexibility. Combining premium leather with suede details that create flex points in the upper, it effortlessly conforms to all the positions workers find themselves in on the job. The wide pull-loop at the heel helps them slide on effortlessly, while the metal hook lacing dials in the perfect fit. Against the ground, the high-traction, oil-resistant wedge outsole is designed with flex grooves and integrated with BLOOM™ algae-blended foam to be easier on the environment. The CSA approved comp toe, comp plate and ESR components round out the protection.

Great boots, horrible laces
"I have now bought 3 pairs of boots from Kodiak, first pair lasted 1. 5 years which is good as I’m hard on boots. I fairly often apply mink oil for waterproofing and. To keep the leather lasting longer. Boots break in after a week and are then super comfy. Only complaint is the 2 part laces the boots come with. They last for about 3 lace ups and then the outer shell rips… theirs makes it hard to feed the laces through the eyelets. I always buy new laces writhing the first week."

- No, this boot cannot be resoled, only our Goodyear welt boots can be resoled. Our Goodyear welted boots are Neragon and our entire Lundbreck collection.

- Yes, this boot features both a composite toe and composite puncture resistant plate.

- All of our work boots and safety shoes are produced by our factory partners overseas. While we remain a Canadian based company (Cambridge, Ontario), we ceased Canadian manufacturing operations in 2014.
