"Boots are very basic and fairly comfortable when broke in. Soles are just too soft for working on the railroad. I could feel every piece of ballast on my feet. If you work inside, they seem like good boots, but a month in on the railroad and I’m shopping for new boots."
"I’ve used these boots for trades class, general outdoor work, and while working in a warehouse setting. They’ve stood up well, and can take a beating. They’re also really comfortable, and my feet don’t get sore after walking in them for hours. When treating them, all you need is a brush (since it’s nubuck) and some waterproofing spray if you want. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the laces do fray a bit over time, but those can be replaced easily."
"Poor finishing and bad customer service. The main construction of the boot itself should hold up like last pair I had. However, the laces have torn already and the metal grommets around the lace holes are falling off after only 1 week of wear. I emailed repeatedly about issues before my purchase and no one got back to me."

"I've had my boots for a year and a half now. I searched out these boots, based off a pair I purchased years ago from Canadian tire. The originals I got were the best boot I ever had! These are right up there as well. Very comfortable and light, great looking boot. I replaced the factory laces with a better pair as they didn't last very long. Boots are holding up great, but I don't work in a harsh environment. I've had other make of boots and can say these are by far the best yet. Definitely would purchase again when these wear out."
