Finally, a waterproof workboot
"First and foremost I was looking for a work boot not made in the U. S. A. which was waterproof and hopefully one that will not fall apart within a year. I believe I found that boot in the Kodiak Karluk. As I have only had them for a month I can not attest to how long they will last. They are waterproof, as stylish as a work boot can be, definitely warm to at least -20C to -30C and once I replaced the foot-liner it can with, with an anti-fatigue foot-liner, quite comfortable. They are not as clunky as my old Timberland Pro's were which allows me to drive a car much easier but they are not as breathable which may be because they are waterproof. I also miss the lace-up style of my older work boots with dual-purpose top hardware for lacing customization. All that being said, I am very happy with these work boots."
