About These Icons

Protection ID 3mThinsulate

3M™ THINSULATE™

THINSULATE™ insulation works by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space, the greater its insulating value. Because the microfibers in Thinsulate™ Insulation are finer than other fibers, they trap more air in less space, which naturally makes it a better insulator.

The boot is good. My ankle did not like it.

"I was not disappointed by the quality of the boot and how it was built. It fit me wide in the front. I could have gone down half a size, risking a bruised toe. There is a fold where the thick tongue connects to the upper pushing on the front of my ankle on the inside. That bump was not good and caused pain when I tried the boot on. I adjusted it a few times and it was better, but not something I could wear for 8 hours straight. This was only on my left foot. The right was OK. The good ranking is for boot quality and that fold at the tongue."

A good buy

"Bought my first pair of Kodiak work boots in the early 70's (!) Good quality. I'm an 11 and the 11's were too snug (not much forgiveness with a steel toe) so moved to 11.5 which fit better."
